Alice Holt Woodland
Alice Holt offers something for all the family including its world famous ‘Go Ape’ High Wire Assault Course, cool adventure playgrounds and great bike trails all an arrows flight from where they filmed the opening scenes of gladiator.

Jane Austins House Museum
Set in the centre of the picturesque village of Chawton is the charming 17th century house that was the home to Jane Austin. World famous author of classic novels such as Pride and Prejudice and Emma to name a few, this museum is open to the public and this year is the bi centenary of Jane Austin moving to Chawton so there will be many organised activities in the local area.

WaterCress Line Railway
The Watercress Line runs from Alton to Arlesford (a little way north of Winchester).
Originally the line ran from Winchester to London. It acquired its name as the line was used to transfer watercress from local watercress beds around Arlesford up to London.
The area around Arelsford is an important area for growing watercress.
